I had contacted Paws Over the Rainbow earlier as I knew that my 12 year old golden retriever was struggling with loosing his strength due to arthritis. I decided that I owed Max a dignified end at home. It turned into an emergency and he took the heartbreaking decision out of my hands. Tine attended and talked me through the process. His gut had twisted and he was in pain. A dose of valium quickly calmed him so we could spend precious time with him. Another injection later sent him over the rainbow bridge to join Aunty Millie retriever and my 5 other retrievers. He was privately cremated and he is back home with me. It was the "best" goodbye.

When our little mate Echo got his diagnosis and we were told his end was coming, we knew we were losing a very special rescue cat. He was far too pretty to be abandoned, but this is sadly how he ended up. Independant and feisty at times in his early years, but always ready for drink of milk or a warm lap, he was truly a one of a kind cat. We knew that letting him pass away at the home he loved before pain and suffering took over was the kindest thing to do. Tine handled the whole process with dignity and kindness and Echo passed away in peace and tranquility in the home he loved and defended. It is always sad to lose a loving companion, but I can certainly say if you wish to do the very best for them till the end then I can thoroughly recommend the home service that Tine offers. Run free Echo our beautiful little mate

There are some people in this world that words cannot express just how much love they hold within their souls. When you come across them you feel it instantly. We felt this deep sense of love and kindness from Tine. A beautiful gentle woman who went out of her way to help us in the most painful time we recently have experienced, 3 weeks ago. Our beautiful beloved 13 year old beagle dog Django, was suddenly diagnosed with Kidney failure and from the time the vet told us this devastating news, two days later he passed. I’m still very much in shock and in tremendous pain. Our boy didn’t suffer because of the gift Tine gave us. Kidney failure is dreadfully painful for dogs and I wasn’t going to let my boy live his last hours on this earth in agony. Instead he was given the deepest love we could surround him with, our voices, our touch, our smells and his favourite song I have played to him for 13 years. Tine was part of this love. She gently talked us through the process and gave us great consideration and compassion during this time. To us, she represented an Angel at our most saddest time. Her bedside manner is impeccable and a gift. A true gift and we will never be able to thank her enough. Our beloved boy lays peacefully in our private woodlands and lays deeply within our hearts, forever. In the end, we gave our boy the greatest act of love we could have ever given to him which was to not let him suffer the pain he would have gone through. I can feel him saying to me “mummy thank you for giving me permission to go.” My heart is completely broken, shattered into a thousand pieces. The love I gave to my boy was true love, a pure love. I bear this pain so he didn’t have to. We will be together again one day, forever. Our most sincere gratitude for your love Tine, we will never forget how you helped us when we most needed. Our Love, Jainey, Sam and Emily xxx

Me and my Nan needed to have our Frenchie Nancy put to sleep as she had reached the end. Tina was amazing from start to finish, she made my Nan who is 85 years old feel so at ease and calm! It was such a peaceful end for Nancy and my Nan can’t stop talking about how much better it made her feel having Tina here. Thank you so much- I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Tine was amazing with helping us give our much loved cat a dignified and respectful ending to a wonderful, long life. From our first call to the team we were treated with immense kindness and compassion, I feel it was the single greatest experience of kindness I have ever had, and the care and love Tine has for animals and their families is deep and obvious. Thanks you again.

Myself and Chris cannot thank Tine and the team enough. Tine made what was the worse day of our lives so much calmer. She gave our little Jess so much care in the brief moment she came into her life. She handled her with so much love and kindness never rushed us in saying our goodbyes. But also helped reassure us that we were doing the best thing for our girl, as much as it hurts us. Taking away her pain came first. The beautiful card from Tine just showed how much she cares, cannot recommend you all enough.

I’m so grateful I found this service, as it allowed us to avoid the additional stress of taking my dog to a veterinary practice. Tine helped my beloved dog pass peacefully at home with great care and compassion. She was also very supportive during this heartbreaking time. I would highly recommend this service.

I had to let my sweet angel soul baby dog to rest which was the worst day of my life. I contacted Tine on the Tuesday sharing my concerns over my baby & she said she could come Thursday morning. We asked if she should come later in the evening & she was so kind and accommodating. Tine was calm, had so much love & empathy and explained the process of what was happening. After, Tine let us have time to say goodbye and never rushed us. I was struggling to cope with letting my baby go in Tine’s car & my husband asked if we could drive my baby to Kings Hill. She was so so kind and let us drive separately so I could hold my boy in the car to the location & Tine never rushed us to get there. I am so incredibly grateful for everything Tine has done for us & I am so grateful that my baby was able to rest in the comfort of his home and in my arms due to the service Paws Over The Rainbow provides. Thank you so much Tine for your love, kindness and empathy & for being so accommodating for my family & I & letting my baby rest peacefully.

I cannot thank Tine enough for helping our beloved Tango peacefully begin his final journey. She treated him with such dignity, compassion, and kindness, while also offering us comforting words and genuine support during one of the hardest moments of our lives. Her care, empathy, and professionalism made an incredibly painful goodbye just a little easier. We will always be grateful for the love and respect she showed Tango and our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
