EIGHTEEN MONTHS OF GRATITUDE

As we approach 18 months of supporting families and their animals, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude to those who have recommended us to clients and acquaintances.

It truly means the world.

WORKING ALONGSIDE YOU

Founded by Tine Headland MRCVS, Paws Over the Rainbow exists solely to support – not compete with – veterinary practices. We provide end-of-life care as an ancillary service and always direct clients back to you for further veterinary needs.

REFER WITH CONFIDENCE

We make referrals easy: simply share our contact details with your client. We’ll arrange everything directly and keep communication clear and respectful throughout. Free referral cards are available – just let us know if you’d like more.

Please feel free to reach out at any time. We are here to listen and answer any questions you might have without any obligation of using our services.

EVOLVING CLIENT EXPECTATIONS

Today’s pet owners are reshaping the conversation around end-of-life care.

They’re looking beyond traditional clinic settings, they often request pre-euthanasia sedation and they are seeking out experiences that feel more compassionate, personalised, and gentle – not only for their pets but for themselves as well.

More families are seeking a personalised and private farewell at home. For veterinary professionals, that shift presents both a challenge and an opportunity.

Signs it may be the right option:

  • Pets are distressed by travel or the clinic
  • Clients seem anxious or hesitant about in-clinic visits
  • Mobility or transportation is a barrier
  • There’s a strong emotional bond needing extra space and time

A gentle prompt like: “Some families prefer to say goodbye at home – would you like to hear more about that option?” …can offer comfort at the right moment.

PET MEMORIAL WALK

Our memorial walks are one of the ways we offer support to bereaved families. All are welcome – whether you’re remembering a pet or supporting friends who are.

Sunday – 6 July 2025

10.15am for 10.30am start

Burbage Common – Hinckley

We invite you to honour the beloved pets who have touched our lives.

Bring a photo, share a memory, or simply walk with us in loving remembrance.

It’s a day to celebrate their unconditional love, cherish the joy they brought into our lives, and find comfort in a community that understands.
